Defense Worx recent developments: | | Defense Worx releases Console 0.5 Beta. The Console gives our network intrusion detection system an easy to use and well organized interface. The Console "client" can run from any computer on the network our network intrusion system operates. The Console gives you instant notifications of any possible or real network intrusions. | | | Defense Worx, formally known as Secure Worx, made its first public release of its network intrusion detection system in May of 2000. Since then the product has been downloaded heavily with no advertising. Defense Worx is currently developing a centralized GUI console (user interface) that will display alerts from our network intrusion detection system. We have added port scan and sweep detection, open-source intrusion signature library, added several new protocol decodes, and a threaded architecture to the network intrusion detection engine. Version 1.0 of the integrated network intrusion detection system and centralized GUI console is due to be released in January 2001. |
